Out of Hours
Enhanced Access
An out-of-hours service to cover medical emergencies is available to patients and should be used only when the Practice is closed. Call us after 6:30pm Monday to Friday or at weekends and bank holidays for further information.
Waltham Forest GP Federation
- Weekday evenings: GP evening appointments will be available Monday to Friday from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. Evening appointments will take place at a GP practice in Leytonstone.
- Weekend: GP weekend appointments will be available Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 8pm.
GP appointments are available at three locations:
- Chingford - Saturday 10am to 4pm
- Leytonstone - Saturday 10am to 4pm
- Walthamstow - Saturday and Sunday 8am to 8pm
How to Book

Lines are open: Monday to Friday – 12pm to 8pm and Saturday to Sunday – 8am to 6pm
Life Threatening
Call 999 or go to A&E now if:
- you or someone you know needs immediate help
- you have seriously harmed yourself – for example, by taking a drug overdose
A mental health emergency should be taken as seriously as a medical emergency.
Urgent But Not Life Threatening
Visit an urgent care centre if:
- You have an urgent medical issue requiring on the day attention
Non-urgent
Use NHS 111 if:
- You need help now, but it’s not an emergency
There will be someone to provide you with advice and to direct you to a clinician if it is necessary.
